Airscape uses the smart double lid to keep your coffee fresh for longer. Press the inner lid down into the can to minimize the air content and then press the handle down to prevent more air from entering your coffee. Then put the top lid on and you have a completely sealed can. As you use the coffee in the can, the inner lid can be pushed down further and that way you can always see approximately how much is left in the can. This way of forcing the air out of the can is not so sensitive to small particles, so ground coffee can be used. There can be about 500g of beans in this metal can. The can is cleaned with a damp cloth with a little soap.
